Sellio pays per active minute plus per mile, with a guaranteed minimum on every offer and one hundred percent of tips. The rates are published below and they do not change city by city.

Pay
The whole formula, in five lines
Every delivery pays the sum of these, or the guaranteed minimum, whichever is higher. There is no opaque multiplier and no hidden quality score adjusting your rate.

A worked example
A 1.8-mile delivery that takes 19 active minutes, including 5 minutes waiting at the counter: 19 × $0.32 = $6.08, plus 1.8 × $0.78 = $1.40, plus the $1.50 pickup bonus. That is $8.98 before the tip. A 15% tip on a $34 order adds $5.10, for $14.08 on one delivery.
Requirements
What you need to start
- Eighteen or older, with the right to work in the country
- A bicycle, e-bike, scooter or car — all four are paid on the same rates
- A smartphone running Android 10 or iOS 15 and newer
- An insulated bag, which we provide free at onboarding and replace every six months
- Valid insurance and a licence if you deliver by car or scooter
Onboarding takes about 40 minutes: an ID and right-to-work check, a short safety module, and collecting your bag from the city hub. There is no fee to join and no charge for equipment.

We never lower base pay because you were tipped
It sounds obvious. It is not standard, and it is written into our courier terms.
The whole offer is on the card
Distance, expected minutes, pickup point, drop-off area and guaranteed pay, all before you accept. Declining an offer never affects what you are shown next.
Waiting is paid
If a kitchen runs late, that is our scheduling failure to fix. You are on the clock from acceptance.
A human handles incidents
Accidents, theft, an unsafe address: you reach a person on the courier line, not a chatbot. We hold occupational accident cover for every active courier.
You choose your hours
No scheduled blocks, no penalty for a quiet week, no minimum hours to stay active.
Deactivation has an appeal
Any deactivation comes with the reason in writing and a review by a person who was not involved in the original decision.
