Accessibility

Last updated 14 January 2026

We build to WCAG 2.2 level AA. This page says what that means in practice, and it also lists the things we know are not there yet, because a statement that claims everything is fine is not much use to anyone.

What we do

  • Every interactive element is reachable and operable with a keyboard, with a visible focus ring that meets contrast requirements.
  • Body text meets a 4.5:1 contrast ratio and large text meets 3:1. The interface does not use colour alone to carry meaning.
  • The site is tested with VoiceOver on iOS and macOS, and with TalkBack and NVDA, before each release.
  • Animation respects the prefers-reduced-motion setting, and no content flashes more than three times a second.
  • Layouts reflow to 320 pixels wide and support 200% text zoom without loss of content.

What is not good enough yet

  • Menu item photographs supplied by partner restaurants sometimes lack useful alternative text. We are working through the catalogue and expect to finish during 2026.
  • The live courier map is difficult to use with a screen reader. A text-based order status view is available beneath it, and a proper replacement is in design.
  • Some PDF receipts are not fully tagged. Requesting a receipt by email gives you an accessible HTML version instead.

Reporting a barrier

If something on Sellio blocks you, write to accessibility@selliocompany.org or call (312) 555-0182. We acknowledge within two business days and give you a fix date or an explanation of why we cannot. Anyone who cannot use the site can also place an order by phone during support hours, at the same prices and fees.
